Think Like a Doctor

For you House fans who might enjoy the chance to actually participate in cracking the case of a mystery diagnosis, check out the New York Times‘ Health News series “Think Like a Doctor,” which challenges readers each month to “take on a difficult [patient] case and offer their own solution to the diagnostic riddle.” Each challenge includes information from an actual student case, including symptoms, case notes, test results, etc. Not surprisingly, writing and communication, or breakdowns thereof, play a major role in each case.

Below I have linked to the case and solution for two recent challenges. What do you think?
